Issue 14 - October 2024
As we reflect on Recovery Month, we are reminded of a statement we often discuss within our campaign and with our partners: Recovery happens in community—it cannot happen alone. In this newsletter, we are excited to highlight an incredible partnership we’ve developed with the Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) and their IMPACT BH (Improve Perinatal Access, Coordination, and Treatment for Behavioral Health) program.
Our collaboration focuses on their current grant work in Mesa and Montrose counties, where we are working together to integrate Tough as a Mother into the efforts of local providers and community partners. CPCQC is committed to building a strong support system for birthing individuals by creating a continuum of care for moms in these communities.
This partnership is a great example of how to activate the Tough as a Mother campaign within provider communities. As our Recovery Month message stated, Recovery is a family affair. Together, as a family and community, we can unite to support moms wherever they are on their recovery journey.
In this issue, we spotlight some of the incredible partners we’re working alongside in Mesa and Montrose counties. From Hilltop Community Resources’ unique care model to Charlie Health’s invaluable virtual support for moms, we hope you’ll see how, together, we are making a difference.
